This workshop will include 12 hours of training as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor using the manual, ‘ Teaching English Language Learners the Good News’.
Workshop topics include: * Principles of learning and teaching a language * Organizing your ESL classes * Lesson planning for ESL classes * Practices for introducing vocabulary and teaching pronunciation * Practices for providing communication practice * Dealing with cultural differences
Session Dates: * Friday, August 23, at 5:00 – 9:00 pm * Saturday, August 24, at 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: 2009 Sharpe Road, Greensboro, NC
Cost: $50
