This workshop will include 12 hours of training as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor using the manual, ‘Teaching English Language Learners the Good News.’
Workshop topics include: * Principles of learning and teaching a language * Organizing your ESL classes * Lesson planning for ESL classes * Practices for introducing vocabulary and teaching pronunciation * Practices for providing communication practice * Dealing with cultural differences
Session Dates: * Friday, July 31, at 6:00 – 9:15 pm * Saturday, August 1, at 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

Cost: $50
